What is HOAA?

The House Officers Association Alliance is a 17 year old non-profit organization made up of the spouses of residents and fellows. We work to promote good fellowship and open lines of communication within the University of Nebraska Medical Center by providing general interest seminars, special interest groups, social functions and programs to benefit the families and/or employees of UNMC.

In a nut shell, we are a group of spouses, both men and women, in a special situation unique to medicine - we develop friendships, offer support to one another and have a good time doing so. This year our dues are $25 for the year ($30 if you choose to join play group.) Your dues not only go toward your local membership and our activities, but also entitle you to a membership in the Alliance at the county, state and national levels.
